Iva Messy is the Chief People Officer at Felicis. She brings over 15 years of experience strategically building out all aspects of the human resources function, driving culture, organizational development, and people strategy.
Prior to Felicis, Iva led Human Resources at Andreessen Horowitz, a venture capital firm with $10 billion under management. She was previously the Director of HR & Administration at Altamont Capital Partners, a private equity firm with over $2.0 billion of capital under management. Prior to that she was the VP of Talent at executive search firm Riviera Partners and the Human Resources Manager for Stanford Management Company where she worked for five years. Iva began her HR career working with the Brooklyn Nets. She received a B.A. in Psychology and double minor in Sociology and Women’s Studies, and Iva also earned an MBA in Global Business Management and holds the SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) certification.
